Advanced Chiropractic Education

In September of 1985 I entered the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois to begin my 5 years of chiropractic education. During my 5 years at National, courses included biochemistry, genetics, physical therapy, pharmacology, nutrition, neurology, endocrinology, histology, pathology, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, radiology, clinical and laboratory diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the National University Clinic. The course work was challenging but it was thorough and prepared me for my career.

I believe that keeping up on the latest advances in chiropractic through postgraduate education is important. I am a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists.

On a personal note...

When I'm not at my Villa Park chiropractic office, I enjoy being outside with my two dogs, Kira and Nikko. I garden, work on my house and sometimes just relax. I enjoy being busy and doing physical activities (not desk work...ugh!). I'm active in the community with several different organizations, including two Chambers of Commerce.

My usual chiropractic regimen is to get adjusted once per week. I take Kira and Nikko to get adjusted once a month to help maintain their health. The last time I had any over-the-counter or prescription drug was about 10 years ago. I stretch every morning, make good food choices (usually) and stay active.

Helping people get healthy for over 21 years

I have been serving the west suburbs of Chicago for the last 21 years. There are so many people out there who are not enjoying their lives because they are in pain and unhealthy. I can help these people. My mission is to help as many of these people as possible enjoy their lives through the benefits of good health. As one of my patients said, "Aches, pain and other health problems steal time from our lives."
