We often hear new patients say how “nice and relaxed” our office is. We appreciate that because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding. You’ll also find that our office is easy to access with plenty of convenient parking.
When you arrive for your first visit you will be greeted with a friendly smile and given a short tour to get you acquainted with our office. If you’ve already downloaded and completed your admitting paperwork from our site, great! If not, after doing so you’ll meet Villa Park chiropractor, Dr. Brian Russell.
Consultation & Examination
The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health issues and goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you. Please be open and let us know your concerns. We're here to help.
If Dr. Russell thinks Chiropractic will help, he will complete a thorough examination and possibly x-rays, which will help identify the cause of your problem.
Some patients ask if they can bring their spouse or another person with them to their first visit. Our answer is "absolutely." In fact, we recommend it. Another person can often enhance the communication process.
Please allow 45 minutes to one hour for your first visit.
We never charge for a consultation
Some people have concerns about fees. We never charge for a consultation. Before we do anything that's going to cost you money, we tell you what it is, why we need to do it, and how much it will be so that you can say 'yes' or 'no' to it. Our patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance.
Your Second Visit
After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health. We call this the Report of Findings. This is usually attended to on your second visit, which is usually the following day. Because there is a lot of new information during the Report of Findings, many patients choose to bring their spouse or other person with them.
A Typical Office Visit
A typical office visit may require just five to 10 minutes, but don’t think the brevity of a regular visit lessens its value! With the groundwork laid, Dr. Russell can quickly size up the condition of your spine and nervous system, adjust you and get you on your way.
We recognize your time is valuable. So we do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life. Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before. Miss a visit and you can lose the momentum necessary to make the needed changes.
