Back Pain
Back Pain is a common problem, and many people don't understand how back injuries can accumulate and cause disability in later years - those same later years that are supposed to be so "golden." When I am able to, I educate and enlighten patients on the value of taking care of their health now. I can help them not only now, but I've also helped them in their future.
Headaches
Headaches can be disabling. It's even worse when a parents interactions with their children are harmed because of headaches. It's very rewarding to help people who suffer from headaches because I'm not only helping the parent...I'm helping those children too.
Asthma
Asthma is another disabling, and sometimes deadly, health problem. This is another situation that, when it affects children it is especially debilitating. My heart goes out to the child who, despite taking the medications prescribed by the medical doctors, cannot go outside and play because of the risk of an asthma attack. It really makes my day when a child comes in to our office with his parents and then reports back that he was outside playing with his friends over the weekend.
