I was talking to one of my patients today and she mentioned a friend of hers that has colon cancer. I asked her all about the person, and she told me quite a bit about her condition, her stress level, what she did for a living, and how long she’d been married etc. So in response to this event, I’m going to write you a short post today about how you can help prevent colon cancer.
First of all you shouldn’t smoke. That’s a given.
Another big thing is FISH OIL. Your colon-cancer risk will PLUNGE 45% IF you take 3000 mg. of fish oil DAILY. The reason, Japanese scientist say, is that fish oil’s omega-3 fats block absorption of cancer-causing chemicals in the digestive tract, so omega-3 is pretty darned important. But there’s a bonus to taking Fish Oil. Want to know what it is? Fish oil prods your BRAIN to make more mood-boosting serotonin, cutting your risk of depression three-fold. Not a bad bonus.
I could go on and on, but I have to save some of this proprietary information until the next post. Stay tuned. You’ll like reading it.
Be looking for my next blogging. I’m going to be giving you another health tip.
